Why Meeting
Planners
Book Her

  • “She does the homework. Every talk is built around your audience, what going on in your industry and what’s actually keeping your people up at night — not a recycled deck.”
  • “JMC makes hard topics land, without dumbing it down. Cybercrime, cyber-insurance, disaster recovery, AI governance — the stuff that makes eyes glaze over becomes understandable and actionable.”
  • “She shows up prepared, on time, is easy to work with, and gets along with everyone. No diva requirements. No surprises.”
  • “Being Canadian with extensive international leadership experience gives her a global perspective, making her content relatable.”

The TQG Approach in Action

We don’t just deliver a generic deck; we take the time to understand the audience, industry and the issues that matter to the people in the room, then builds the talk around that.
Your audience gets an experience that truly resonates with them…  and the organiser gets a win, too.
Specifically, when asked to deliver a workshop or keynote, The Q Group’s starting point is identical to some of our first steps when engaged to do any consulting project:

  • Get to know the client, its challenges and its goals – both immediate and longer term.
  • Understand what they want the talk to accomplish, or do for the audience.
  • Look at the microenvironment, including relevant global events.
  • Examine industry trends and customer behaviour.

We then adapt our keynote content accordingly.
Whether its unpacking a trillion-dollar cybercrime industry for manufacturers, talking family business dynamics on television, or helping a Business Improvement Area rethink its
retail strategy, the process is the same. The topics change. The rigour doesn’t.

Keynote Topics

From small, intimate gatherings, to massive auditoriums, we deliver thought-provoking talks that engage audiences, provide practical advice and entertain, too.

Need help on determining the best way to use AI at work? You’re not alone. Based on 2025–2026 industry surveys, nearly 25% of North America companies have little or no understanding of which AI tools their staff are using – or what their corporate exposure might be. Research also suggests that although 63% to 90% of companies have adopted or are experimenting with AI tools, there’s a massive gap between use and governance (+50% of employees are using AI at work without explicit approval), training, and strategic implementation.

This one-hour keynote focuses on actionable ways business leaders can start integrating AI into existing workflows, while maintaining control.  The session also discusses ways of using AI to strengthen decision-making, while preserving human judgment, protecting sensitive information, and avoiding over-reliance on external tools.

A look at how cybercrime has become a $1 Trillion industry, with formal strategies, criminal employee acquisition programs and training, and access brokers to sell their ill-gotten digital gains – and what it means for organisations of all sizes today. You’ll also hear about how business processes, intellectual property and client lists are being hijacked and, in some cases, putting companies out of business.

Most North American companies have already addressed DEI to some degree.  It’s the “B” of Belonging that is still a challenge for many. How do you get people of different backgrounds to feel like they are valued, and so feel like they belong?
Harder still:  Getting people of different generations to work together effectively and truly collaboratively. +70% of organisations have 4 generational groups on their payrolls: Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X and Boomers.  Yup, even Boomers.  Even though people at the tail end are already 60, many Boomers are working well into their 70s. Hear practical, proven ways to get everyone to work together well, and to feel like they belong.

In today’s fast-paced business environment, setting the right goals—and ensuring your team can actually achieve them—is what separates high-performing organizations from those that stall.

You’ll learn how to maximize traditional goal-setting frameworks such as SMART, PACT, and HARD, as well as being introduced to proprietary tools developed by The Q Group.

Equally important is fostering an environment where individuals are motivated to work together – where individual success fuels organizational progress.  You’ll learn to ask the right questions to help your teams set their own goals, to fuel passion for projects and create accountability without micromanagement.
You’ll also discover how to maintain momentum, adapt goals in changing conditions, and keep teams engaged over the long term.

Between hybrid work challenges, increasing difficulties in attracting good employees, changing employee expectations and low unemployment numbers, employee engagement is at its lowest since 2000.
